Carles Cuadrat
COACH BENGALURU FC
Carles Cuadrat was formed in the inferior categories of the Barça, club to which it arrived with 10 years and with which it got to dispute some friendly ones with the first equipment of the hand of Luis Aragones.
After hanging up his boots prematurely at the age of 30 due to a knee injury, he became part of the technical structure of FC Barcelona’s youth football.
Later on, he joined the coaching staff of Frank Rijkaard, with whom he worked at Galatasaray S.K. and the Saudi Arabian National Team. From then on, he joined a tandem with Albert Roca and was his assistant in the El Salvador National Team until he arrived in 2016 at Bengaluru FC, where he spent two seasons as assistant coach.
In 2018, after Albert Roca’s departure, he became coach of Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League. In the 2018-19 season, Bengaluru FC won the Indian Super League after defeating FC Goa 1-0 under Spanish coach Gerard Zaragoza.
In the 2019-20 season, the coach will continue to coach Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League. The Indian club, having won the Super League in August 2019, announced the renewal of the Spanish coach until June 2021.
