Curro Torres
PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL COACH
Cristóbal Emilio Torres Ruiz, better known as Curro Torres (Ahlen, Germany, December 27, 1976), is a former Spanish soccer player who played right wing defense at Valencia CF, and is the current professional coach in both 2B and 2nd Spanish Division.
His beginnings as a coach began in the youth categories of Valencia CF and after a season of great results, the club trusted him to lead the Valencia branch in the 2013/2014 season.
In the 2016/17 season, he managed to have a great season with Valencia Mestalla, finishing in 3rd position in the 2nd Division B Group III. This gave the team the chance to face the play-offs for promotion to the Spanish Second Division after many years.
After his great season he signed for Lorca in the second division, as well as going through NK Instra, Cordoba and CD Lugo.
Without a doubt one of the best coaches in managing a dressing room, and willing to find a new project that will give him the necessary time to implement all his soccer.
“Talent depends on inspiration, but effort depends on each individual”.
