Fabio Cappelleti
PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL COACH
Fabio Cappelleti has a degree in sports science and is close to a master’s degree. UEFA B coach, I’ve been training for 4 years: last season I was part of the team as coach in the youth sector of Robur Siena S.p.A., a militant club of the Italian Serie C (3rd division), as well as coach of the U12 team of the satellite club. For more than a year I have been part of the Italian Football Federation’s staff, as a technical collaborator in charge of monitoring the basic soccer activity at local level. For two years I have been part of the staff of Barça Academy Italy and Barça Academy Swiss as coach of the official campuses of FC Barcelona, and of Valencia CF Soccer School Italy, as official coach of the activities that Valencia CF carries out in Italy during the year.
Soccer is a game of deception and, as such, those who have the ability to adapt better to different situations and contexts achieve success. My vision of soccer is as follows: a continuous succession of changing circumstances to which players must adapt, interpreting their role within the context. In the ocean of uncertainty, players at the “helm”, coaches like the “map” to help them get their bearings. Ours is a role of fundamental importance. They are in charge, because the game belongs to the players.
