José Ramón Rodríguez gives orders every day to a group of footballers in which, by age, he could very well be included. At 32, he joined Rubén Baraja as assistant coach from the Valencia CF youth teams.

Rodríguez has a degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and is a national coach. He has also been a teacher at the Valencia Foundation’s Training Center.

After his time in Rayo Vallecano, Elche CF, Sporting de Gijón and in this last season in the ranks of Tenerife in the second division doing a great season. At 32 years of age, Rodriguez is burning stages in the world of the benchs faster than usual. You only have to look at the rest of the teams in the Second Division to realize this. 

He is currently the second coach of Real Zaragoza in the Spanish second division.
