Pedro Mendonça
FOOTBALL COACHES LYCEUM
Around 330 B.C., the Aristotle Lyceum was one of the two main pedagogical institutions in Athens, representing together with Plato’s Academy the intellectual center of the Greek world.
Aristotle’s institution was, however, much more empirical and practical than Plato’s, and many of the sessions were free and public.
Thus, in the spirit of the original Lyceum, Pedro Mendonça created the Football Coaches’ Lyceum, which aims to be one of the main institutions in the training of soccer coaches, assuming itself as a reference center worldwide.
